Does anyone make a shorter 7" Filter sock?

I have two 7" filter socks in my sump, and I have around 10" of room for them , so my 7x16 socks are a little to long, was wondering if anyone knows of a place where I can find some shorter 7" socks ( 8" long would work great too )

I buy all my filter socks on amazon/eBay maybe check there... There is a lot suppliers for bio diesel equipment that sell a lot of different choices.. I got them really cheap

I tried looking around , and couldn't find much , I want to make it shorter so I can put some kind of a weight in it to weight it down

I make my own out of felt material I got at Wal-Mart. I used to reuse the plastic collar and slipstitch the new bag on. Now I sew them in a balloon shape and rubber band it to the pipe. The balloon shape gives way more filtering surface in my shallow sump.

With a quick search I couldn't find any 7" but there are a lot of 8.5" if that works...

I found some 7x12 socks there, but they are nylon no felt, I will order 4 just to try them
also found a local company that can make them custom for me but I have o buy pack of 50

Sorry , but I don't understand why you want to "weigh it down".

They don't sit right now, they tend to come up a little a water slips around them and doesn't go thru the sock
