Does anyone use an oceans motions 4 way on their main return?

I have a super squirt hooked up to a dart no problem. It is a closed loop and not a return from the sump but I don't see how that should make much of a difference. I did run a bypass (in case the flow was to much), however I found that I don't really need to open it unless I want to.

Clark, E-mail OceansMotions they have great costmer service.. Right now at this point I have desided to hold off on the 4-way.. But want to add one in the future.

Here is what they told me to do.

Thats a good idea !

You should give Paul a call. They have excellent products and the best customer service out there.

I have a 4way HD has 2" in 1-1/2" outs with all the drum versions. I am currently running a closed loop version 2 drum with an ampmaster 3000. It has been running about 14 months without an issue. This thing would easily handle a hammerhead if plumbed properly.

If used as a return I guess you would have to drill holes in all of the outlets to prevent a siphon in case of a power failure. You can save a lot of ball valves and aggrevation if you want to change drums or need to service if you mount the unit above the tank water level.
