Does anyone want to split a Vendor table?

I am setting up a 20 gallon tank, and I don't need that much space, plus I would rather get there earlier. It would only be $25 each.

I could be wrong, but i dont think you need to pay for a vendor table just to setup a tank to sell frags from home. Not sure though, maybe jeff could answer?

Am I the only person that seems to feel that Splitting a "vendor" table when you are not actual vendor isnt Fare

!. to the actual Licenced vendor

2 . the others that have paid full price when they only wanted a half of table ?

I think its not about the money either its about the rxploitation of the system ..

Please tell me if I am out of line .... I believe others would agree

Based on list of vendors, not sure it is an issue

Looks like a number of "hobbyist are setting up "vendor" tables. Seems as though anyone who wants to pay the price, can do it.
Plus, they can only have so many people in for free as a vendor, correct?

No, there are several people who split the cost of a vendor spot. I don't see it as a problem. If they would rather pay the $50 to sell their corals than $5 for half a table then more power to those people. The club appreciates the extra money and the vendor admission allows one helper free entry so two people splitting the cost of a space makes perfect sense.

You don't have to have a vendor's license or be an actual store to have a vendor spot in this frag swap. It seems like a lot of people are willing to pay the extra to get early admission and a prime space with electricity. I don't think it is taking advantage of anything but I may not be seeing something that others are seeing as a problem.

It would be a good topic for discussion at a meeting so we don't get the frag swap threads closed or de-rail them. If anyone wants to PM me with their issues feel free to do so and we can discuss them at a future C-SEA meeting.

There are not unlimited vendor tables available. Some commercial vendors are coming a considerable distance to set up at the show. Tables that were preregistered and paid for in advance will be held for those people.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee tables for those that show up the day of and ask for a vendor spot.
