Does Interval 1 have any durability impact on the Streams?

I've pretty much always run Interval 2, but have been playing around with different flows. Does running Interval 1 have any effect on pump durability/wear? I have a 6100 and a 6101. I was thinking the starting/stopping cant be great for the pump. What would be the the preferred minimum interval for good pump life (if it matters).

SJM817, running the pump on interval 1 will required more cleaning because of the on/off interval. According to Roger, if you properly maintain the pump. You should be fine.

The main problem is as Steve said, they just need to be cleaned more.
