Does my floor has sufficient support?

Honestly, I think u had plenty of support. Those joist are as strong as solid wood. That's why they are used in homes now. I would have found the specs on the cross joist before I spent more money on upgrading something that probably didn't have to. Manufacturer specs will tell u how much pressure a square foot that can handle. Believe it or not but plywood/glued wood are usually stronger than solid wood.

I read bunch online articles, and most likely my floor has sufficient support, but that is not a definite conclusion. There will be no definite answer for anyone's floor when it comes to this question. In the end, the project is easy enough and cost $100 in total.
