Does my flow suck?

I have a Hydor Koralia 1 and what my return pump produces, which should be around 300-400. I have a 54 pain in the butt corner. I have the Hydor Koralia in the back shooting to the front and the return from the sump opposite side around the front of the curved glass. I was thinking of picking up a Hydor Koralia 2 (after the recall)or 3 and moving the Hydor Koralia 1 to where the return is. I don't want to over do it and am stuck on how much more to get. I don't really think this pump is enough. The 2 is 600 and 3 is 850. What do you guys think?

Right now you have about 15x turnover it seems. I would definitely bump it up, imo. I like to shoot for at least 20x bare minimum. I have 30x in my 40g mixed reef. Adding another Koralia or similar pump would be a good move. I would do the K3 if you can still get it.

I am waiting on them to be stocked. I read they had a recall so I am gonna have to wait for a few weeks.

I will improve it to maybe minimun 20x.

flow doesnt suck............it blows and for the record you flow blows in more ways than one

Ok so which would be better Hydor Koralia 2 or 3? I was thinking of the 3.

Either would get the job done, but wheather or not the livestock is getting enough, that's a whole different story. If you plan to get some higher flow corals in the future, go with the larger. If you are gunna stick with a few shrooms, the 2 would be fine.

either would be a vast improvment the 3 would prob be best but it will cause a storm at first but dont worry the fish/tank will get used to it soon
