Does RBTA prefer halide or T5?

I have a 26g bowfront with a rose in it. I had wavepoint T5's running with ATI / UVL bulbs. When I run T5's the RBTA seems to be more stout, but all opened up and tips bubbled.
I switched over to a 250w halide running phoenix bulb and it seems like it loves the light, but it stretches way out to get maximum light exposure. Tips are bubbled and looks very healthy.

I would've thought that it likes the halide more, but I don't see it stretching for the T5's like with the halide.

Any thoughts?

had them under both and it just seems to depend on the anemone itself.. some of mine liked the t-5 better and extended better while others the halides..i acually had more than 1 look for a shader area while using newer halide bulbs..

My GBTA dosen't seem to like my 250w mh's at all. I tried moving his rock morre directly under them a few times thinking he might like more light and he just moves right back off to the side of them where he was. Probably just depends on the individual I'd guess.

I've got my clone from a friend, and it has split for me a few times. Some of the clones like high flow high light right under my 250mh in a 40 br. It stretches out to just a few inches under water.

My others stay on the outer edge of the mh. Towards the bottom of the tank.

Yea like others have said, it strictly depends on your 'nem and your tank. There are so many variables within your own system that answering your question would only describe how 'nems react in our setups.

I have my RBTAs under both and I have GBTAs under t-5s only, I would say t-5s are preferable, but either is fine. By preferable, I mean under the t-5s they always stay bubbled. I have 150 watt XM 10000K. For t-5 I have 6 bulb fixture, Tek fixture, high PAR bulbs (Aqua blue plus, GE Daylight).

Bubbled tips and the cause of is very debatable...although you state it stays in this state under T5's it's unknown whether or not it's the cause.
