Does the brand of salt impact clownfish larvae?

I have been doing a little clownfish breeding on a off for a few years now and have always used Instant Ocean salt because it's the least expensive. I was wondering if I switch to a higher grade salt if that would effect the clownfish larvae? Anyone know?

Thanks,
Lou

It's a good question.
Is there anything specific you are trying to improve such as larvae survival rate, form, color, etc?
I used Seachem and Reef Crystals to raise a batch of clowns. However, I tried out a small 50gal bag of IO to treat an anemone two weeks ago and I really like it. . It's widely available and inexpensive.
To be honest switching salt brands would probably be the last thing on my list in trying to improve quality of larvae. Water quality and their foods would be the highest priorities.

Salt

I don't think it makes a difference at all, so I use instant ocean for breeding cause its cheaper and I go through a lot of salt for the clownfish.

I use a higher end salt for my reef tank, Tropic Marin Reef Pro.

Water quality (clean and oxygenated) is more important than brand, in my opinion.
