So as of today, nothing has changed. It moved more onto the center wall vs the corner. Has not deflated, but also mouth has not closed yet. And since it is the 4th day (even did an extra water change with fresh cipro 2 hours ago) I am considering either upping the dosage or switching to bactrim (septra) - would this be advised or should I still continue with the same treatment?
I am not really sure what is going to happen - either he is slowly recovering and will pull through or I am just prolonging an inescapable death. Hopefully it is the former. I did look through all the threads posted on Minh's protocol thread, but most seemed (they were giganteas) to have closed their mouths relatively quickly after treatment started.
And on a side note: as cichlidconvert mentioned - i bought salmon for my other two healthy carpets and I have never seen them react as quickly as they did to food before. I also noticed a sign on the salmon I bought saying color enhanced flesh through feeding and am guessing that has something to do with anemones having better color with salmon. And do you freeze left over salmon to feed at a later date? (Just wondering if it might cause the anemones to like it less if it is no longer market fresh - this was not previously frozen)
