Does your rbta look smaller when your mhs are on?

As title says does your rbta get smaller when your mhs are on? I know when the lights are off mine has longer sweepers and is bigger but when the mhs are on. It looks smaller and packed together.

Mine also gets bigger when the lights are on. If yours is getting smaller the lights are either to bright or it's still ajusting to bright light than it was used to. how long have you had it?

I have alternating powerheads so it gets a back and forth flow, but they are not aimed at it.

mine either gets really big, or stays a similar size. At night it gets HUGE

mine gets huge while the MH's are on and at night it shrinks up to about 50% of the size when the mh's are on

Mine expands and bubbles its tips with the lights are on. Lights off, it shrinks a bit but tentacles elongate.
