Does your tank look different after WC

After doing a 12% water change tonight my tank looks fantastic. I noticed the same thing after last weeks water change. Anyone else notice a difference after doing a water change?

In a closed system like our aquariums the new water from a waterchange can make a noticeable difference.

mine goes a little milky for a few hours and the most different can be noticed a few days after

like 5 hours after i do a water change, i notice that my corals open way more than normal.

I've noticed after any water change (10% or more) that the water always looks "crisper" or "cleaner" (once everything settles after a few hours.) More polished or something. And life seems to look a little more improved also. I'm not sure if it's just the fresh nutrients or just the fact that cleaner water revitalizes things.

I change 5 gallons of my 75 gal tank every Friday night. My acans and other LPS puff out and extend their tenticles, usually about 15 to 20% bigger immediately after the water change!

I have noticed this effect as well, but I attributed it to my always cleaning the algae off of the glass right before a water change. No doubt the new water makes everything in the tank feel better.

My frogspawn always open up a lot after a WC.
