having a headache with cyano and tried to use zeovit to control it but does not seems to be working well for me .

i have been dosing pcs with 8 drop of bak in the morning and night 8 drop of bak with zz.

the cyano got killed at night but the morning keeps coming up during the day .

i have changed my mh bulb. nothing seems to work

chemiclean will choke out the cyano in a couple days, just know it will remove dissolved oxygen from your system so you need an air stone or remove the collection cup off your skimmer for extra aeration. Zeolite based reactors tend to make more algae before they stable out... just give it some time

I used 5 drops of Bak and 5ml of Coral Snow for 5 days and it completely knocked out my cyano. Stop dosing Food7 for the 5 days you do this.
They say to do it for a complete 10 days, but I stopped at 5. I still add 2ml of CS to my WC barrel, about 40gallons.
Be sure and siphon as much as possible, and skim wet also.
Every tank is different. Just keep at it.

Syphon as much as cyano as possible....dose bak as directed. The bak will outcompete the cyano for nutrients eventually...make sure you stir your zeolites 2 times a day....

Bubbles on your rocks is a sign of overdose of Start 2. Also I think you are using way too much of Zeo Bac per day. The Zeo system will not cause algea but will pull the crap out of your rocks to fuel it until most is used up or removed by hand. I've been running Zeo on my 220 SPS system and have never had any algea issues since I started it up 2 yrs ago. Watch your feedings and do the recommended WC's each week. Overfeeding seems to be the most common problem with Cyno. Skim really wet and watch your salinity as you remove salt with the wet skimmate. Also make sure of your flow and have no "dead" areas in the tank.
Hope this helps
Dave
