Dogface Puffer

hey RC peeps. I hope I am posting this in the correct location. I have a question about my Dogface. I got him in December of 2016. I thought I would treat myself to a wonderful gift. This puffer reminds me of a dog. He knows when I get ready to feed him and he is also very full of personality. My only question is this. I notice his teeth are getting bigger or longer. What can I give him so that he can grind them down some? I have no Coral as of yet maybe one day My tank is 125g. I feed him dried krill at the moment. I would also like to add some variety to his diet any ideas there? Thanks in advance.

Squid, clams, mussels, and silversides should be added to his diet (at a minimum). Him going at the clams and mussels will get his teeth filed down.

I have a buck tooth dogface puffer. Try some clams on the 1/2 shell, you can get some from your market or they sell them at the lfs. Get some shell on "raw" shrimp from the market. It's best to get some variety.

Also quit feeding him ASAP like right now the freaking Freeze Dried krill. Squid clam whole shrimp if you can find them uncooked crab like blue crab legs stuff that he has to work thru will fix his tooth issue really fast. I had one that that loved it when I came home from the fish monger with a live blue crab for him from time to time.
