doins pumps are here!

Ok, so here's a teaser pic. The write-up is still coming. You can see the dosing pumps installed below the pH and Temp monitors.

Nice watch. Looks good D, looking like we need to add another board to the wall, you are getting all filled up. Did you get digital timers yet?
Matt

Yeah, I got a single digital timer with one outlet on each side. You can see it in the far right of the pic above. Its above your junction box mess. ;-)

Darin,

That's a great write-up and photo-tutorial on the installation. Thanks for taking the time......;)

No problem, that's why I'm here. I'm friendly Darin, the happy reefer. :-)

Or, you may be friendly and happy, due to the reefer......:D

Oh, by the way, what the heck are "doins pumps"? LOL.
Matt

I typed it that way to confuse you. Perhaps you would not recognize it and stay the hell outta my thread. :)

I like the pumps so far. I don't have them plugged into the timer yet, but they seem to be dead-on to the calculation I made as far as drip rate and there's absolutely zero back-siphoning. I think they'll do my system a world of good.

Are you plugging them into the same timer? I'm not sure if I want 1 or 2 timers, just afraid if I run both parts at the same time they will precipitate out.

I am running them off the same timer, for the sake of simplicity. I have a large enough sump that they drip far enough away from each other not to cause any instant mixing.
