domino damsel turning white

I have a domino damsel in my 55 gallon tank that is turning white. All the conditions (salinity, pH, nitrate/nitrite/ammonia) are stable and optimal. I've noticed it has been hosting my bubble tip anemone a lot. Other fish are 2 clowns, a sail fin, a blue damsel, and a neon velvet damsel. Any thoughts or advice are appreciated.

could be stress. Are other fish bothering it? Take a lot of time to observe the fish...

Could be. It used to be the big bully of the tank. The other fish seem to be pretty chill. It looks pretty healthy overall, just a little less agressive and nuzzling up to the BTA. At first I thought it was getting eaten because I had that BTA eat a small clown before, but it swam away and came back.

Is it solid white or kind of mottled-looking, like a bad paint job? If the latter, I'll bet this is it:

My female saddleback clownfish went through this when she was getting acclimated to an association with a long-tentacle anemone. It went away eventually.

How big is it? Is it very old?

Also what species?

Large Dascyllus trimaculatus lose the spots and the flank gets more pale with age.

Large D. albisella turn white on the side with age.

I have seen domino damsels turn greyish when scared/stressed but it usually goes away fairly fast. How long has it been that color?

I used to have one that would host in a condylactis anemone. Was crazy.

I have 2 in my sump and when the light comes on 1 of them gets a pale white for awhile then returns color. Doesn't seem affected though when I feed he goes to town.

Domino damsel turning white and fins starting to rot

Help!!! My domino damsel started turning white and rot then died in just 2 short days! And it stopped eating since yesterday. I don't have pictures of it now, cause it died minutes ago...
I post this here cause I'm trying to find out why it died.
The water parameters are all optimal. Tank mates weren't attacking it because they have been together for almost a year now. Other fish in the tank were healthy and eating now.
So guys, what was the reason behind it turning white and rotting? Please let me know so I won't have to face another fish death! Thank you.
