Donate aquarium for HS Bio class

Hey guys. I'm a high school Biology teacher in Coconut Creek checking to see if anyone is willing to or knows someone willing to donate an all in one aquarium for my classroom. It would be great if the kids could see what it takes to start up and maintain a reef tank throughout the school year. An all in one would be best for the class because I don't have space for a sump to place below the tank.

As I'm sure you know teachers are pretty broke otherwise I'd try to buy one myself and the money we are given by the county only covers classroom supplies (papers, pens, staplers, etc.)

Any help and anything else you could donate would be greatly appreciated

Good luck, I'm doing the same thing for my girlfriend's class (advanced bio) and looking for simple frags now, and getting the cold shoulder. I wish you all the luck!

While I don't have any used all in ones I can hook you up with frags for your GF class tank. PM me if you're interested.

If you cannot find a all in one, Building one may be a fun project. its not uncommon to find 10/20 gallon being given away. I wouldn't mind assisting in a DIY AIO if that is a course you take :)

i send a few resources to the school teacher to ask for donations from Manufacturers who have donated to schools/FMAS before. Hopefully, one of them will be in a generous mood ;)

I will have a 12 gal nano available in a couple of months. FMAS is also working with UM Aquarium club on a project which would lead to a cube tank donation to a school in spring 2019.

Nice, thanks DRT... Best of luck, and if mine is up and running and growing, I'll give a frag or two also. I just put aside 3 types of zoas and 2 neon green shrooms at Aquatic Jewels, will put them in the tank Tues night. I'm hoping to see a few people today and tomorrow for frags they are willing to donate, Thanks all! I'm also keeping an eye out for a tank for you... I saw what looked like a great hex tank (flat back and front, 2 panels on each side), being thrown away, went back and it had a big crack in the bottom. But I had you in mind when I saw it.

if you are ever in west palm beach. I can supply you with live rock, live sand, and other miscs equipments. as for livestock: a pair of clownfish, a coral band shrimp, gsp, pulsing xenia.
