Done with reef roids for awhile

The other day I fed reef roids and without testing phosphates just knew they would be high after I fed. Hit the skimmer body 40 drops LC the right amount for my gallons. 12 hours later tested phosphates 1.0+ hit it another 40 drops. I can't even imagine how much gfo I would be burning through. I know my rocks are leaching but this is getting out of control

I don't think it is worth it yes the corals love them but not with a phosphate problem like me

How much and how often do you dose them? With reef chilli and around 350 gallons of water I dose 2 scoops a day.

I only do once a week now maybe week and a half at less then the recommended amount it is 1/4 tsp per 25 I do 1/2 tsp and I have 67 gallons

My scoop take 4-6 scoops to fill a 1/4 tsp! That is a ton you're feeding.

I target feed twice a week in a 15g nano. Maybe 1/4 of a teaspoon

Phosphates never go to anything readable with salifert test. Hanna says 0.01

I broadcast feed a pinch every few days at night and leave my skimmer off on those nights. 26 gallon tank.
