Donor Chaeto Algae

I have more Chaeto algae to the first 4 people to respond to this post. Due to an
accident in my tank detailed in another post, I may have more than 4 starts
by the July meeting, I'm just putting 4 to be on the safe side. If there are
more than 4 respondants and I have extra, I'll bring it for them as well. This
stuff is growing like mad.

The algae mass has recently become home to a huge population of pods
so if you take some algae, you'll probaby be increasing your pod population
too.


I do my algae donations the same as the Frag program. You MUST
be a COMAS member, and you must agree to give starts to other members
when you have enough to do so.

If any one who I have given starts to previously see's this, I'd be interested
in knowing how your Chaeto is doing?

Any one who wants to do a pickup at my house would be welcome to do so,
but I am only available on the weekends, just let me know, and time permitting
I'll be there. (I live in SW OKC Off 59th and May)

I got some from you and split the baggie full with 2 other people. It has grown great and now is about 3-4 FULL baggies worth. I should have some to donate here in the next couple of months.

Hey Chuck,

I wouldn't mind a small patch of the algea as well to help filter my tank, since its skimmerless. I don't have a lot of room since its only a 5 gallon tank, but would love like 1/4 of a bag....

Definitely will be willing to pass it along if it starts to grow, due to my limited space!
