For those that are successfully keeping these guys, I have some that need someone to be willing to be a hospital tank for me. Here's the background on these. The mushrooms were dying in a LFS when I first sat my tank up. I told the owner that I would buy it for live rock price since my tank was cycling and if they die it wouldn't hurt anything. I got the $60 rock for $10. When it was transported home it got turned upside down and squished all of the mushrooms. They stayed alive and started to recover nicely but then they suddenly started nuking one by one, BUT they left living tissue behind. This was a little over a month ago. The tissue is still alive and growing slightly, but I want the best for these guys and would like to see them grow. Im still moving around and upgrading lights and tank and Im worried that I might stress them too much and kill them. I have about 4 pieces of tissue left that I can find but Im sure there are more traces left. I would like to nurse these back to a good size and be able to be a donor as well. They look just like the picture above. Would anyone be willing to rehabilitate them?
I have a green frilly mushroom, i don't remember where I got it from, or if it even came from the donor program, but if it's the same as these, I'm okay with being on the have list for them. Just got the one, but should be ready to frag soon.
