Don't be surprised if I have questions with new light

I bought the reeflink too and couldn't get it to synchronize with the device. So then I downloaded the EcoSmart app on iPhone and I have full control so why did I need the reeflink in the first place. And I am lost on a schedule does anyone have a place to start I was planing on 40% max intensity but want to ramp up I guess idk anyone have any info or a starting point. I just unplugged it because it wouldn't go off

The reeflink is the lights gateway to being remotely controlled. The radion series of lights will communicate with each other as far as all dimming at the same time and being controlled by a button on 1 unit, but the reeflink is what allows you to control them via ecosmartlive.

I am back now on the computer trying to load a template. I couldn't get to this last night is that a good place to start

Make sure antivirus/firewall is turned off on your pc. I have found thta will interfere with using Ecosmartlive. Once the template is uploaded you will then have to hit the program button.

If it wasnt for the fact that once my lights are set I dont tinker with them I would have gotten a WXM for my apex a long time ago. The ecotech thing is just a pain in the arse.

Maybe that is a problem I am having. I did a quick program on EcoSmart live last night and just loaded a template. But on EcoSmart live app still showing my program. Can I delete app then reload it after program is set on the computer

Not certain there. I do know I have attempted to modify a template on the pc version of ESL and royally messed it up. So I would close the app and open it back up and it would still be there. The messed up one asking me to program. I have found it easier to just change the XML side of the template to do what i want. But thats probably due to my background as a programmer.

Either way, while I have never had a reason to contact their tech support with a setup issue, I have heard they were pretty good.

So I am using a preprogrammed template I believe it is the color radiance for now. Peak intensity is at 55% but ramps up or down visually it doesn't seem that bright. I guess I have more research to do unless another preprogrammed template is better

Do you know if the sps ab+ program uses the two extra channels that the xr30 pro has. After pouring through threads it seem like that is the unanswered question also being away from the computer I'm not sure it has a lunar phase?

Just looked at the AB+ schedule. It does not have storms or clouds enabled. and it looks like it uses these color channels:

RoyalBlue
Blue
CoolWhite
Green
HyperRed
UV

So if you purchased a Gen4 it looks like two channels not in that schedule. the warm white and the violet.

Ok this is what I did I took the sps ab+ basic template and for the full daylight section I used the warm white and cool white sliders and added to those values. I prefer the 14k look so me adding those two values to the mix the Kelvin scale changed from 18k to 14k. Also on the back end of the basic template I added the blues at 6% ramping down to 3% I added another point. If that makes sense because I am used to checking on the tank in the evening with my old fixture. I finally have it where I like it. I really appreciate the help! I hope what I typed makes sense
