Don't know which skimmer!!!

I don't know if I should pull the trigger on a Bubble Magus Curve 9 or an aquamaxx skimmer like an em300 to fit in my sump (skimmer section of 12"x14.5") maybe there's a better skimmer! i'm not sure! i don't want to spend anything more than 500 MAX i would prefer 400. please help

Man that aquamaxx looks nice. I have a curve 7 and I gotta be honest I haven't been overly pleased with it. I think if your going to go the Bubble Magus route you should look at the seaside aquatics versions.

I can say this if I had it to do over again I wouldn't get the curve 7.

What's the seaside aquatics version? Better pump?

Yes the Sicce is much better than the Rock. Both skimmers are identical the only difference is the pump, and its a big difference. I didn't know this when I bought it I looked at the price and thought it was a steal and it is. The curve 7 isn't bad but it could be better. Sea side aquatics made it better with the Sicce.

What size tank is this for? I never asked that.

I looked everywhere I think they stopped making the es9 and replaced it with this.

yeah? i was looking at the 8... i as wondering if i should actually just by the 10. it says it's rated for 300 gallon. would that be over powered

Stick with the 8 if you go with the rlss as the 10 would be overkill.
