Hey guys-

I don't want to step on any toes or offend anyone here, but I do want to extend the welcome of any member of WRS to also come check out our NWRS club based out of Rhinelander WI. We hold our meetings the third wed of every month at the Foster and Smith Aquaculture Facility.

Please also feel free to either email or pm me with any questions. We have a website at www.nwreefsociety.com

Another thought is that we have been talking of bringing in some of the top speakers in the industry and were wondering if there would be any interest from your members in participating? If so who would you like to see?

No offense taken. Thanks from all of us for offering such a welcome and invitation. I can't speak for everyone, but I would be interested if you have speakers as well as maybe just attending one of your meetings. It's a trip, but with the summer months approaching, shouldn't be to hard to possibly attend one. And We would like to offer the same invite to you and your members to attend our meetings. We have our meetings posted on our website at www.wisconsinreefsociety.org They are held on different days at one of our members houses. That way we get to see everyones system, and get inspiration from everyones knowledge.

Thank you guys for the invite. I will pass this along to our members at our next meeting.

Drs. Foster and Smith have been more than generous in their help with the club. It's awesome that they've allowed us to use their facility and that they're willing to share their knowledge with us abut the aquacultured corals, their husbandry practices, etc. without expecting anything in return.

Are there any speakers in particular that you would like to hear? Please let us know your thoughts on this and we'll work on making it happen.

Being that your organization is in the Wisconsin area, you must pay dues to the WRS as a parent club.

Well, the standard 'protection fee' is $1000 per year. You dont want something bad happening to your tanks while you are away or anything. Make the checks payable to 'prugs'. Hey, Fox Valley Reefers, MARS, etc... they all have to pay us as well or we steal all of their corals at night. You wouldnt want to wake up one day and have Foster & Smith missing all their corals, now would you?
