dorso standpipe diy to stop gurgling

You throttle a pump/slow it down by adding a valve on the output..

And you can test out a durso by simply adding one to whatever setup you are currently running

what it work same way if i added a valve on the return drain side instead of adding valve right after pump?

No That would have the effect of increasing your pumps output volume compared to your drains ability to handle the water volume.
