Doryrhamphus: differences between male and female

What are differences between male and female for

Doryrhamphus pessuliferus and
Doryrhamphus janssi?

I have one of each 3 weeks and now I have idea to make 2 pairs.

I don't believe there is an easy way to tell. With janss, the males supposedly have little teeth near their mouth. (information from: http://www.seahorses.de/pipefish.htm)
