Dosing 2 parts alk and calcium

Which part of reef tank I have to dose (drip) a soda ash ?
I know it has to be a high flow area, I'm dripping directly into the tank and it creates white flakes.
Any suggestions ?

dilute it more with rodi water and try dripping again. If that doesn't work try baking soda instead of soda ash. white flakes means it's precipitating out as calcium carbonate, that's not good.

It's always created small white flakes as soon as it hits the water for me, but ultimately it's fine.

A nice turbulent area of your sump works well. If you don't have a sump, then as close to the return into the DT or a powerhead as possible.
