Dosing a Nano Tank

I have a JBJ nano cube 28 gallon and I am wanting to add some LPS to the tank. It is currently set up with some zoas and a couple of LPS frags. I have a couple of clowns in the tank and that is it for fish. What kind of set up is everyone using for dosing in a nano tank?

I have a BioCube 32 LED with softies, one Frogspawn, 5 fish, CUC to include a pistol shrimp and conch. I do a 10% water change weekly, and dose Eight Four, Calcification,Vibrance, and a capful of Stability when I change the floss. Also I target feed Fuel and Marine Snow mixed with spirulina and mysis 3x week. Params are steady and everything is growing.

I've been instructed by a few not to dose my 50 gal system, just a weekly 10% wc is all.

I have a 20g Nuvo, and am getting growth of my lps and slow SPS growth with just dosing kalkwasser through my ATO.

I would recommend keeping it simple. Start monitoring your calcium and alkalinity. If you see those dropping off despite regular water changes, then I would recommend mixing kalkwasser powder with your topoff water. That should be enough to support any and all LPS in a nano.

If you start getting some really big growers like large SPS colonies, then you can move over to 2 part solution.

I have a lot of SPS, so I'm using 2 Bulk Reef Supply 1.1mL dosers on a timer with my reefkeeper lite dosing 2 part. I also occasionally dose Aquaforest products, and have been dosing vodka and vinegar daily to keep nutrients and algae under control.

I actually wish I could add kalk to my topoff, but I'd need some more room with the Tunze pump to have their external kalk reservoir, since their pump can't pump water with kalk in it without freezing up over time.

I have a 34g mixed reef, sps, some lps, and some softies. I just do kalk in my top off and add calcium once a month. It's been running stable about 2 years.

Almost never. I run a fuge in the back chambers of my aio, a skimmer and a small upflow algae scrubber. My levels are undetectable, but I do get some hair algae growth that comes and goes as I prune my chaeto.

I found that the Bubble Magus 3-channel doser was the simplest method to keep things in line on my JBJ NC28 and RL30. I set up the dosing schedule to have smallest volume doses at the highest possible intervals per day for parameter stability. Dosing with BRS 3 part (Alk, Ca, Mg) solution. It takes a week of daily testing to establish the correct dosing volumes and after that you pretty much just check your reservoir levels and do occasional testing to see if doses need to be tweaked over time to compensate for growth or changes in the tank.
