dosing bacteria

I was wondering if anyone with an established tank adds any bacteria to their tank to aid the nitrifying bacteria. I would think after a while you wouldnt need to do this but figured I'd ask. Btw no plans on using bp.

I never have and don't think they are useful indigenous bacteria will do fine when the oragnic carbon isadded.

I find that when carbon dosing, a regular regiment of adding a good bacteria does wonders in helping to outcompete cyano. I use Microbe Lift's Special Blend for this purpose. Smells like worst stuff imaginable, but very effective for my purpose.

I've been following sunnyx's vodka/mb7 dosing with amazing results. Mb7 is the bacteria supplement. Have not seen a speck of cyano.

Well I run ZeoVit so my whole tank relies on bacterial populations!
