Okay, I need a doser, that has been established.
However - I am finding 0.5-0.6 dKH decrease in 48 hours so a couple calculators have told me i need 1.7g bicarbonate powder per day (my Ca is a little high so I don't want to use kalk for a bit). Without a doser, how often would you folks recommend I add fractions of the solution? I can reasonably do 3x a day - before I leave in the morning at 6am, get home at 4, and my day ends around 9 or 10pm. I'm guessing you are going to tell me all 3 equally, but I can measure out different volumes to cover different time periods. No issue.
Also, is this the best way to cover my alk needs prior to getting in to dosing? I'm not a fan of kalk in the ATO because I can't really control my evap. That's how I went from 8.1 to 9.5 in 3 days and RTN'd a stag. Don't want to repeat that.
