Dosing Kalk with Bubble Magus on SPS reef

Thought i would ask this question here as you folks are the ones obsessed with ALK and Ca.

I am currently dosing 160ml a day of A and B using Oceans Blend. My mag is at 1460. My alk is still slowly going down if not regulated with water changes.
I want to use Klak again to reduce my demand for A+B solution.

I have researched and cant find a max amount to dose daily with a Bubble Magus doser.

Anyone dosing high volumes daily? I want to dose 1/2 gallon a day = 1892ml.

Wondering if I can trust my Bubble Magus to do this effectively?

My ATO is a gravity fed float valve and it doses kalk poorly due to build up on the float joint resulting in it sticking up and down. I dont trust it and hence need to come up with a better way to add kalk.

Any input or advice appreciated!!

I've tried this and the head wore out after 3 months and needed replaced. It's a cheap replacement but you never really know when it's going to fail. I run the BM doser with 2 part and timed topoff (not float based) using a BRS peristaltic pump. These larger pumps are much better for larger volumes IMO. I have tried Kalk in the past but my evaporation does drift over the year and I'm always nervous I'm going to overdose without realizing it so I switched to all 2 part.

When 2 part dosage gets really high I tend to think most folks switch over to the BRS bulk 2 part mixtures to manage the cost. Much safer, but that's just my opinion with my level of talent. :D

thanks for the info and the suggestion.

The higher volume BRS doser has poor reviews. It seems that they have trouble lasting a year. I was considering a toms aqualifter as well.

Opinions?

I've got two BRS dosers, one going on a year now, no issues. I didn't leave a review, usually only people with problems leave a review. :) I bought pump extra hoses because they are a wear and tear item that should be replaced occasionally.

Looks to me like almost 5 stars with 199 reviews.

It's NOT silent though, mine pop when the APEX provides power. You get used to it.

Currently dosing 1.3l of kalk as top off with a MP810 dosing pump
20 times 2 minutes on with a timer, I wired a float switch as fail safe

PH doesn't move much
