Dosing Pump and Apex

Which dosing pump can be controlled through a Apex? For example I am on the road and want to change one of my dosage amounts.

Any that are powered with a plug, like drews or BRS dosers from bulkreefsupply or tbaquatics has a nearly identical type as well.

I could pug it in that way to the apex. I am wondering about getting on a iphone for apex controler then being able to modify the dosage amount or frequency. Thanks

A lot of the dosing pumps use small amounts of current, so be sure to plug them into outlet 4 or 8. Otherwise, the other outlets might not be able to shut off the current. I use the Tom Aquatics Aqua Lifter.

cheapest thing better than a brs is a aqualifter pump 15.00 and ive had the same one for almost 4 years with no failures. works with my apex flawlessly

A little off topic but it would be great it Neptune Systems made a doser that plugged into the aquabus. Then I would have more plug 4 and 8 to work with.

The app for the iPhone/iPod/iPad won't allow you to change the programming, but you can always log in to the Apex via a web browser and remotely change your programming for amount/frequency.

The is an issue with the web changes are good. The dropdowns do not work in Safari with iOS 5. The drop down do not work.

Aqualifters are very imprecise and the amount they deliver differs greatly with different head.

Awesome pump otherwise. I use them for ATO.

Guess that's a good reason for me not to upgrade to iOS5! I'm using Safari with iOS4 (4.2.1 to be exact) and the drop downs work just fine and I can change anything I want.

Drop downs dont work but at the end of your url or ip address once you log in it will say status.sht if you would like to access the outlet setup menu then you need to go directly to the url and change it from status.sht to outsetup.sht or modules.sht or probes.sht then that menu will load up and you can do what you want

1. type IP or URL used to access the apex
2. Login
3. Change the end of the URL (/status.sht) to the menu wanted
/probes.sht =Probe setup
/modules.sht =Module setup
/outsetup.sht =Outlet Setup
4.Press Go and the web page will load up

What I do is i open each of the tabes i want to be able to access and Bookmark/Save them to my home screen and move all of them into a folder called Apex.
