dosing pump for auto top off

yeah
but i am afraid that the float switch will clog or something. I want the dosing pump to pump little amounts all day so that it will stay the same.

Mark your water level (in the sump if you're using one and on the tank if you're not), turn off your auto topoff for 1 day and see how much water it takes to fill it back up to the mark (use fresh water only to do this). Then you just ahave to measure how much your topoff pump puts out. Good luck.

Float switches dont clog. A float valve can. Use a good float switch like the Reefantic dual and an Aqualifter pump.

can you adjust the aqualifter pump?
No. It is a low volume pump. Works great for top off.
