Dosing pump used for feeding

I was wondering if anyone has used a dosing pump to broadcast feed things like Julian Sprung's Marine Snow, Phytoplan, Zooplan, etc. I would like to keep some goniopora and some of the other filter feeding type corals that need plenty of food and think this would be a pretty straightfoward way of doing this automatically without having to depend on my eroding memory to feed.

Also, if you have done this how did you keep the food suspended in the resevoir? Do you run a small pump for a few seconds prior to turning on the dosing pump?

i would think that spot feeding would be the best. you would be adding a lot of food that might be wasted.

I don't know how much would be wasted but the idea is to get away from spot feeding since that relies on remembering to do it. I was looking for a way to auto-broadcast the tank.
