Dosing Pumps

Which ones are you guys using?.. And whats the range in volume dosed? Are they capable of dosing 1cc per hr?

I use the BRS 1.1 ml/min pumps. If you wanted to dose 1 ml/hour you'd just set it up on a digital timer or a controller set to turn it on for one minute every hour. It would be simpler to do three minutes eight times a day or--even better--eight minutes three times a day.

All sorts of ranges out there....I use the BRS "drews dosers" that kick out 1.5 mL/minute. +1 to the above to just time it out. Your tank is not going to notice the difference between 1mL/hour and 3/mL per 8 hours.

look up marine magic doser. 3 dosing units in one. programmable right on the unit and it's about the cost of 2 Drews dosers.
