I am considering dosing vinegar to remedy a little green algae problem.
Read the article on reefkeepers and still have a few questions.
1) how much and how often should I be adding. My system's total water volume is 70 gallons. 75 gal DT and 30 gal sump. Assume I am using the 5% vinegar that the article recommended.
2) where should I add the vinegar?
I have read that ideally it should be added just upstream of the skimmer.
In my system this would be in the overflow box. I have a corner overflow with a herbie drain setup. Is this a good location and should I add a little live rock in the overflow box to give the bacteria a place to latch onto?
