Dosing Zoanthid/paly only tank

I have a mixed reef tank now, but I would like to eliminate daily dosing of cal/alk. If I went with a zoo/paly only tank could I keep proper cal/alk with weekly water changes? It's a 17 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump which is about 20 gallons total system volume. I do about 3 gallon water changes every week using Redsea coral pro salt. Thanks

Why are you dosing in the first place? Are you monitoring your parameters and need to adjust them? I would think with water changes like that and decent salt you'd be fine with most corals.

Yes, I do monitor my alk/cal. I don't have to add much 2 part but it does drop everyday.
