Is carbon dosing frowned upon in seahorse tanks? Anybody dosing carbon in their corral?

I dose Zeostart2 which is vodka and vineager and sugar and ... .
no ill effects.

only been about 6 months though.

Thanks for thi input Allmost. I actually dose Everclear along with Zeo's K-Balance and Phol's Xtra along with Brightwell Ferron and Amino Acids in my SPS tank. I really like the results. So I thought I maybe dosing could improve the conditions for my ponies. . .
