dow flak?

Does anybody know where carries it. I was in Wausau today, I looked at Home Depot, Menards, and Wal-mart. No one even heard of it. I think I'll head up to Home Depot in Rhinelander later this week and check there.

We have checked all over too, sticky said he gets it in Eau Claire.

You can get it from Wausau Chemical....but it is more expensive.

I ordered the 4lbs sacks from Buckeye Field Supply. They have both DOW and Mag flakes and ship at a decent price. They have a forum on here too.

Hopefully I have got a bag on its way from Eau Clair as I type. Relatives are coming up for christmas.

I don't even know what Dow flak is. Could someone kindly explain what its general use is, just for my curiosity? Thanks!

Do a search for Randy Holmes two part. Its for calcium and alkalinity. Dow-Flak for the calcium, bakeing soda to buffer for alkalinity and epsom salt for,,,, ahh umm something. Magnesium perhaps.
