Downsizing

Due to circumstances surrounding my being away so much I am downsizing the footprint in my basement. I am taking down the 55 and the 150 predator tank and will only keep the community tank up. As a result I will be sitting with a bunch of live rock left over. I will be selling the reef ready 55 with stand and canopy (no lights) for $60. The rock will be $1 a pound for the base rock and $2.50/lb for the tonga branch and nicer pieces. I have one base rock that is huge (at least 50 pounds) if somebody is looking for a big piece. I have had my systems set up for several years and everything has always done very well. I have never treated any of my water with copper, etc. so the rock is safe for inverts.

The predator tank is now housing two yellow tangs and a beautiful Niger trigger that I will have to either take to ABC for trade in value or find somebody local that wants them. I'll figure out a price for them when they are ready to go......

My 5 ft 150 turtle tank is already empty and clean.....

I personally observed the 55 gallon tank and the 150 today. They are great. I wish I had more space in my house and a more understanding wife and I'd have both of them. I went to get the trigger and the yellow tang and left with more than I expected. Great people!!!! Good luck with everything.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope the two do well in your setup. The trigger is an awesome fish....my wife will miss him for sure.

St James is going to take the 150 Turtle tank....

I have moved the one display tank that I will have and am starting the plumbing today....

I have probably 500 lbs of rock that will not be going into the system...
