I vote xmas party at Jays, and save dr. mac for a warmer day in the spring...or a lull in the winter.. we have plenty to do right now IMO....we will need filler things later in the year....ya know?

After giving it some serious though I couldn't agree more. Things are really crazy that time of year, and a trip down there really eats up a nice chunk of time. I would stay local also! I'll bring the egg nog!

I voted local. I'm just not ready to take full advantage of a trip to Dr. Mac's.

On a side note, about five years ago when I had a 55Gal setup, I bought live rock, then a clean-up crew from Dr. Mac before he had his retail store opened. I think he was selling stuff out of his basement.

On Saturday mornings, he would drive his van up to Philly International and pick up deliveries from the Fed Ex terminal at the airport. So he was nice enough to pack up the Live Rock and bring it with him from Baltimore. I met him at the airport and picked up my stuff. Then about a month later he met me again for the clean up crew.

Very accommodating.

i vote to do Mac later too, i really want to go and i cant go anwhere after thx giving. my parents open their xmas tree farm and i work there every weeknd until xmas.
