I talked with kaptken and he will probably not be able to make this one. His tank is beyond full and he is no yet ready to set up another tank. I also talked with PhoenixSlayer895 and he would like to come, but will have to see if he can ask off from work when we decide a date.

I'm probably going to ask around in the PARC forum later on to see if we can get more interest.(unless we can get more then 10 of us to agree on a date) I won't to wait so we can decide on a date first though.

I think when everybody is referring to the 28th... they mean July 28th, which is a Sat.

Ok, I just charted the responses and right now only 7/28 and 8/25 have minimum 10 to go with the same group of people on each date.

So, let's throw out 8/4 and 8/11 and focus on the two most popular saturdays of 7/28 and 8/25. with 8/18 as a last resort for now. Like jon mentioned, I wont be making this trip this time. I have no room for new corals now and a bunch of repair bills on the way for me. time to mind the budget.

we need everyone to commit to the two 10 person dates of 7/28 and or 8/25 to make the trip work for the group discount. the last 3 trips had several no shows each time, which will upset the program this time.

so please verify and lets hear from anyone else interested. then i can call Dr. Mac to set the date.

so will it be 7/28 last saturday of july or 8/25 last saturday of august?

i agree with the 8/25.....joe and i are going down this coming weekend the 28th and it will give me some time to look and see what they got and then when we all go down i can save the pennys for what i want when i go back down... and my tank will b more ready for nething i buy....i cant wait to meet everyone

Thanks for all the quick responses. It looks like we will bail out of 7/28 , this weekend, in favor of saturday, 8/25 for the Doctor Mac trip. The extra time will allow a couple more good members and guests to adjust their schedules and budgets to fit. Sounds like a winner to me. I will call the Good Doc this week and confirm our trip date. With a little luck, i may even have my frag tank running by then and join the trip myself. I hate missing trips to the Doc's.
