Dracula Goby

I put one of these gobies in my tank about 2 to 3 weeks ago. I drop it in the tank after acclimation with the actinics on. No one seem to bother it. I have not seen it since. Is it dead or just hiding in the rock formation?

They can hide for weeks when you add them. However, I have had poor success in keeping them long term and I cannot determine the reason. They can be difficult.

Could be either, I've often heard of people finding fish weeks to months after they assumed they were dead. I hope you find it safe and sound!

At this stage I would say it is hiding. I have tried to keep 2. Both hid for weeks at first then were fine and healthy for several months - then they disappeared. These were both attempted at different times.
But....this is only my experience with them.
