Dragon goby and diamond goby

If you are referring to a Mandarin Dragonet, it is actually not a goby. But yes, you can keep both in a 180. I would only suggest the Mandarin in a well established tank with lots of rockwork and pods.

According to FishLore, a Dragon Goby is a backish fish, needing a SG of 1.005 to 1.008, while the Diamon Goby is a saltwater species, with the need of the 1.020 to 1.025.

My answer would be no.

Amblygobius phalaena; Banded sleeper goby. I guess it would be okay. Those fish are not closely related to each other. But sleeper goby is a sandshifter and it is very hard to wean them to captive diet. You would need a mature tank with fine sand (not granular or rubble) and lots of critters in sand for it not to starve. Also if you have corals on sand bead, it might burr them.

Mine is about 5 years old.
Makes a mess. He eats Mysys, and large shrimp the 16-20 per pound....
Still loves to take sand then swin over the rock to drop it.
He's great!
