I recently purchased a dragon wrasse and am wondering if thats why my water is cloudy. The tank is fairly new, but being that they sleep in the sand im thinking its just particles stirred up from the sand bed. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with these fish. Thanks

Hi XxDutchxX

Yes, that is the reason why your water is co cloudy, is your dragon wrasse adult? in my pet store one day after a shipment i decide to put a adult dragon wrasse in one of the display tanks with aragonite substrate, and after hours the water were always cloudy... after taking him out, the water become clearly like always...

Dragon Wrasses are also called Rock Movers as they are always moving sand and rubble around.

Without knowing anything else about the tank my best guess would be that is the source of the problem :)

Hes just a little guy. He does move stuff around a dig a bit so im really thinking thats the source. All of my parameters are in check. My next question is how long before the sand settles or is acustomed to moving. I noticed at the LFS he moved alot of sand but the water was fine.
