Hi in my system is a pair of dragonets that are laying eggs. Is there something simple I can put the eggs into? Can i collect them and put them into my fuge somehow maybe? Do I need a small tank set up with just and air pump in it or something?Do they eat rotifers and zooplankton at first? Anyone have some experience with this?

When you collect the eggs, put them in a glass cup of tank water. Leave them there. Don't aerate them, don't stir them, just leave them.

If your water is clean, you should have no problem hatching them. They do best with neglect. I've had very good results this way with candy basslet and mandarin eggs.

First food for mandarins? Rotifers will get you some success, but not many. To really have a good number make it, you'll need Calanoid copepods. Few species that are good, A. tonsa is one I can think of...

Haven't tried it myself yet, going off what has worked for others. I have gotten as far as hatching the eggs..
