I've been doing some research and am thinking about getting one, possibly a pair. From what most people say, they don't get along with clownfish. Although i've also read about many people who are completely successful raising them in a reef tank. My LFS has had one for a while now in a tank with a clownfish and a 6 line wrasse, no problems. Does anyone on here keep any pipefish with other fish? or have any horror stories of so :sad2:

the pipes could care less about the clownfish...it's the clownfish that get nasty, as can sixlines.
i kept flagfins in my reef with other fish (no clowns, then again, clowns are about the last fish i'd keep...personal preference), but they were kept with a foxface, leopard wrasse, lyretail anthias, and a mandarin in a mixed LPS/softie reef.
