What is the rating for a 1" overflow?

thats what I thought. my return pump is rated for 650 I've been going crazy trying to figure out why I have so much noise. I read an article ( that I can't find anymore) that said the noise comes from to powerfull of a pump and that it's losing suction, that the loud noise is the suction re-starting. So now I'm lost with it all. Big thanks to clevebill for all the help with the durso. I picked the parts up and puting together tonight. so maybe it will help.

i never dealt with dorso pipes ,,i know there is a way to shut them up ,,ask TJ hes the pipe dude ,, he will know or have a link for you

I think you will want to put a ball valve on the output side of your pump. this way you can slow it down some.
