Seriously, this fish is driving me nuts! Today she knocked my Lobo over & on top of my best Favia & my mystery Caulastre Sp. LPS corals. I hope they are not seriously injured. This is really getting to be too much. ( BTW, little fish, all three of those live stock caused A LOT MORE than YOU.!).
I think I got the thing wedeged back into the LR. But how in Hades can she do things like this? Why do it now? all these corals have been in there for at least two months, most considerably longer. The 2.25 inch fish is very strong, but come on.
Just goes to show, again, how absurd the term "Reef Safe" really IS.
Oh well, anyone have suggestions not involving a toilet?

Seriously, please don't use the toilet, trade the poor fish if you don't like it anymore :) Also, it is common for many fish or inverts to arrange the decor as they like it, you can't change that!
 
Matthew, I've got the solution that eveyone hates to hear... glue/epoxy all of your corals down. I've got a female GSM... you think your occellaris can do some damage, get yourself a premnas.

Ever heard the term "If it isn't nailed down..."

This applies to your reef....if you don't nail it, glue it, tape it, epoxy it, or somehow fasten the corals in place, some critter or another WILL find a way to knock it over. Shrimp/crabs are my worst offenders.

I always wondered how clowns do it tho...seriously don't they get a headache from bashing into stuff?
 
I have the same problem but with my tomato clown. I have to epoxy down all corals near its RBTA. If I don't they get knocked down and moved away. It's amazing how strong these fish are. I use Aquamend epoxy from Home Depot plus super glue.
 
Well, I tried the glue during last Sept. Platygyra war. It didn't work. She is ferocious in defense of her "anemone"!
I wear glove now ( got tired of nips on my finger webbing. Ouch!) but she rams your hand with amazing strength. Maybe that explains why she can move corals 5-8 times her size. Anyway, that is not conducive to good placement or Epoxying.
The Lobo is back in its place, just not as visible as before..
