Hello,

I been out of the hobby for the past year, and when I got out I had a Red Sea Reefer which uses a siphon, and the tank is dead silent with 3 lines.

I just bought a Deep Blue 65 Gallon Corner over flow as seen here:

I'd like to make the drains silent.

I was thinking Using the weir with the 2 lines as the main drain, and emergency and running the return the back.

I'm not sure if I want to do a canopy or not. So I was thinking of drilling a 3/4" hole for the return on the back glass.

I don't think it's tempered ?

Any suggestions ?

Go here... Click on the "Tank Specifications" tab and look to see if your back glass is tempered..

I'd assume you have ADB18065 which only has a tempered bottom.
So drill away or just run the return over the top in the back and setup the system as a bean animal assuming there are 3 holes in the corner overflow..

Thanks !

I only have 2 holes in the Weir. I was going to use them for drains, and run the return from behind
