I am once again posting trying to get some insight if i have "messed up" by drilling too many holes in a 125 gallon tank. The tank is 72x18x22 with 3/8 thick glass. with the way i plan to plumb my tank(2 closed loops and a return with a Bean Animal overflow set-up) i needed to drill 10 1" bulkheads. The bottom holes are all 4" from bottom edge with the two end holes( loop supplies) drilled 5" from edge on the left and right, the next hole is 9" away from this hole. on the other side it is the same with a 9" spacing(returns for loops). the top holes are a return line hole from sump( also 4" from top edge and 9" from side edge) there are 3 holes spaced 4" apart(for overflow). the bottom two supply holes have been reinforced with sandwich patched of 1/4' thick glass squares(drill bound up while drilling causing chips). My question is will this set up be structurally safe or will i come home one day to an indoor pool? I also painted the back of the tank black to partially hide patches.I plan on using 2 - 1" SCWD on each loop with 6 outlets on either end(3 on each side on) for one loop and 3 across the back pointing at 45 degree angles across rock face with a 4th riser inside the rocks, and 3 across the front(same 45 degree angle and middle riser) on the other loop, with a 3' or 4' sprayer bar across the top hooked to the return from the sump.Should give me a lot of swirl and circulation with almost no dead spots
P.S. My wife says I'm obsessing over this tank.Maybe cuz i keep waking up due to thinking about setting up this tank
