Drilled tank for wc

I was looking to see if anyone knows where I can get a tank thats 40 - 60 G (Prefer box tank) that is drilled and is or can be drilled for a drain. I want to attach a stand pipe inside the tank and plumb it to a ball valve so I can adjust it to drain exactly 10 gallons while I sit and watch the ball game...

Any ideas?

I think I have found a tank at a lfs that will work. It is already plumbed for overflows. Its a 60G tall. Problem is I was told no one in the area drills tanks. The bottom is tempered and says not to drill it, which is odd because its already drilled. I suppose it was before the 'tempered' process? Looks like I may have to special order a tank if I want to follow through with the wc 'tap' idea. Any suggestions on where to order a tank from would be helpful as well as anyone who has done this in the past.

Thanks

Are you a member of our local reeefclub? If so, we have drill bit purchased by the club to loan to members for drilling their tanks.

Could it be that just the bottom piece of glass is tempered and the sides are not? You could contact the manufacturer to find out.

From what I can tell I don't think your supposed to drill tempered glass.

Richard does it all the time...

But then again, he also mops on occasion.
